John is replacing our sixty year old sink.   Yay!

I thought I was coping with losing my mom until this week. It's my birthday and I couldn't miss anyone more. Thank you for always making my birthday so special, Mom. I love you so much and miss you every day. You were simply amazing in so many ways and always inspiring.

Charlie just had his eleventh birthday. He's not very happy about me being away from home working so much. It's an adjustment for both of us. This is one of his ways of letting me know he's perturbed. Oh, Mr. Finster!

Succulents

I'm trying to grow succulents in small containers. Here's the latest effort. I hear the trick is to not over water. I think I can do this.

The little palm tree

Here is the little palm tree we planted two years ago, now and then. Wow! Today was the first day the sun was out before noon. We sat on the patio and enjoyed it.
